Meet SOURCE DU PAYS SA, a winner of the 2020 edition of the Cameroon Heroes Awards, in the category of Impact Food and Brewery Company. Founded in 1985, based in Douala Cameroon; in 2010, source du pays was taken over by El Saheley group (ASM). This recovery was accompanied by a total reform of the production equipment, buildings, logistics and products. The main activity of source du pays is the production and distribution of natural mineral water, carbonated and non-carbonated beverages.
The limited company SOURCE DU PAYS as a corporate citizen participates in the daily wellbeing of the general public and staff through various fields such as sports, arts and culture, health and safety. It has continuously strived to ensure the wellbeing of its customers through its Planet Social Program focused on health, sport and the environment, as well as the quality of its products available to consumers.
SOURCE DU PAYS SA was the winner for the Cameroon Heroes Awards because of the impact of their promotion activities. All nominees had a 40% votes from the general public, 50% votes from the commission of independent judges and 10% votes from the GAICAM board. The judges which constituted 50% of the vote had to carry out their background check and private review in order to independently pass their judgment to whether the candidate deserves the award or not. SOURCE DU PAYS SA had a 17.5% vote from our independent commission of judges, a 15.2% vote from the general public and a 4% vote from the GAICAM board. Making a total vote of 36.9% final results with the runner up having 33.97% which made her the winner of the said category.
