Impact Blogger of the Year 2020

Meet Henriette NSHAN TEM popularly known as Henriette Thatcher, the winner of the 2020 edition of the Cameroon Heroes Award, in the category of Impact Blogger of the year. Henriette is a Cameroonian blogger, social activist, humanitarian worker, relationship expert, marriage counselor, motivational speaker, and inspirational writer.

Henriette has helped so many marginalized individuals and couples, gain social and legal justice, by personally mediating over more than 200 track proven social disputes including relationships, marriages, family and violence in all forms, through PEACE Talks and other methods, that ends with amicable handshakes. As a Social Advocate, Humanitarian Facilitator and social Worker, she has helped in alleviating the conditions of many widows, widower, Orphans, Physically Challenged, Internally Displaced Persons, and the underprivileged, by galvanizing support (physical, moral and financial) to improve their well-being through starting small businesses, medical care, provision of their basic needs including education. According to Henriette, we all as humans can make the world a BETTER PLACE for everyone through VERY LITTLE ACTIONS of LOVE towards one another.

Henriette was nominated for the Cameroon Heroes award because of the impact of her blogging activities which has touched many lives. This award category was to recognize an individual who has adhered to the social media code of ethics in the execution of her blogging activities, has commanded some degree of public fascination, influenced or shaped the social media landscape positively and has impacted the lives of people in and out of her community and contributed to the growth and development of the nation. All nominees had a 40% votes from the general public, 50% votes from the commission of independent judges and 10% votes from the GAICAM board. The judges which constituted 50% of the vote had to carry out their background checks  and private reviews in order to independently pass their judgment to whether the candidate deserve the award or not. Henriette had a 20% vote from our independent commission of judges, a 24.31% vote from the general public and a 4% vote from the GAICAM board. Making a total of 48.31% final results with the runner up having 18.74% which made her the winner of the said category.

Congratulations once again Henriette Thatcher for your hard work. You have greatly contributed to the growth and development of your community. Your indiscriminate sacrifices and brilliant initiative has gone a long way in improving the lives of orphans and the less privilege. Making you our heroin of the year
