Impact Gospel Artist of the year 2020

Meet Hannah MYA, a gospel artist and a winner of the 2020 edition of the Cameroon Heroes Award, in the category of Impact Gospel Artist of the year. She is a Cameroonian Gospel Minister, Singer, Artist, Songwriter interpreter and Choreographer. She is available on all legal streaming stores and also on social Media. Hannah Mya is the founder of Zion Dance Academy where she trains many youths in different dancing styles and leader of the dance group ‘Zion Ladies’. She constantly takes part in the visitation of orphanages, widows, hospitals, evangelism outreaches, community labor, crusades, etc.

Hannah launched her music career in 2017 with the release of her single and video ‘Breath of life’. Today she has released 5 video clips, 2 video lyrics, 2 albums, and organized 2 live concerts with the participation of many Cameroonian Gospel Artists. Her music is composed of many styles; Afro music, worship, traditional music, praise, and so on. She is the leader of the choir Kingdom Royal Voice since 2013, choir of her congregation Kingdom Word Church of the visionaries.

Hannah was nominated for the Cameroon Heroes award because of the impact of her gospel music which has touched many lives. This award was to recognize and celebrate an individual who has demonstrated outstanding records or achievements through her talents/works in the music industry and has used her work to impact the community and to promote moral rectitude, socio-economic growth or development of the community and the nation at large. All nominees had a 40% votes from the general public, 50% votes from the commission of independent judges and 10% votes from the GAICAM board. The judges which constituted 50% of the vote had to carry out their background checks  and private reviews in order to independently pass their judgment to whether the candidate deserve the award or not. Hana Mya had a 25% vote from our independent commission of judges, a 17.81% vote from the general public and a 7% vote from the GAICAM board. Making a total vote of 49.81% final results with the runner up having 21% which made her the winner of the said category.

Congratulations once again Hanah Mya for your hard work. You have greatly contributed to the growth and development of your community. Your indiscriminate sacrifices and brilliant initiative has gone a long way in improving the lives of orphans and the less privilege. Making you our Heroin of the year
